Our Story
HeritageBids was founded on a simple observation: the volume marketplaces that dominate online auctions list thousands of lots with minimal vetting, while the great houses remain out of reach for most collections. There is a place in between — a specialist house where every lot is examined before it enters the catalogue, where condition is described honestly, and where fees are stated plainly.
We come from the New York antique rug and auction trade. Our team combines decades of hands-on experience with objects, auction operations, and artist relations. We built HeritageBids to run sales the way we believe they should be run: curated, transparent, and accountable.

Artist Relations
A trained artist with formal art-school education, responsible for artist relationships and fine art sourcing, including our growing focus on Balinese and Southeast Asian works.
